Análisis de la incidencia de las microfinanzas en los microempresarios del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito

Abstract

Abstract: This investigation addresses the theme of small business and finance within the urban context of the Quito Metropolitan District (or: within the context of the urban center of Greater Quito). The primary difficulties faced by these organizations are identified, without regard to each business' individual specific activity. This work also addresses the characteristics of small business persons and the field in which they work. This study is expected to contribute to the academic community in terms of the history and current state of Ecuadorian small business persons, as well as their primary traits and behaviors. Such information is expected to be useful in the design and improvement of public policy related to small business. The statistical analysis, in particular, constitutes a special contribution and resource for both the academic field and experts in themes of small business.
