Regeneración urbana de la Plaza Central y Plazoleta Lateral perteneciente al conjunto religioso de la parroquia “El Cisne” del cantón Loja

Abstract

In the present investigation the public space of the religious group of the parish "El Cisne" will be intervened, to solve the main problems of privatization, segmentation and fragmentation of its space, because of the invasion of merchants in the central square, besides the deterioration, the lack of maintenance, and inadequate furniture in the lateral square, for this reason the urban regeneration has been determined as the most appropriate form of intervention, for the realization of a comprehensive proposal, encompassing social, economic and environmental aspects, giving back the cultural identity that the parish has been losing in the course of time, to safeguard the personal interests of a particular group, violating the right of citizens to appropriate the public space, is therefore a systematic analysis of the current state of the place to determine the main strategies that solve problems and needs with the elaboration of the urban-architectural proposal.
