Abstract

This research work called: the Ecuadorian as elements of cultural and social identity in the educational field has to do with the study of the words that are used in our country in the process of spoken or written communication and are part of the identity Cultural and social development of Ecuadorians. It is channeled into the analysis of the words that are usually used, which are generally called idioms, and which belong to the Ecuadorian culture. The study is made to know if the citizens know them and if they understand their meaning, how often they use them and therefore whether they are current or not and also verify the connection with their Ecuadorian identity and representativeness. Ten people from the southwestern region of the Loja province were interviewed, five professionals with academic qualifications and five without them, who were asked about their knowledge of the words selected for this research and its meaning, in order to know if They are current and how often they use them
