Propuesta de plan de gestión integral de residuos sólidos de la cabecera cantonal de Guamote

Abstract

In the present investigation the proposed plan of solid waste management for the cantonal head of Guamote, which, contribute to improving the quality of life of the population of the study area was conducted. We proceeded to the evaluation of the generation, handling, storage, collection and transportation of solid waste generated in the cantonal head of Guamote. Thanks to the lifting of visual information on the topic solid waste information about community was achieved, the operational work by the department of health and solid waste local evaluated. By sampling and conducting surveys need to train community topics environment, recycling, community support and social management in handling and final disposal of solid waste, the use and recovery was diagnosed. With the information obtained the proposed plan of integrated solid waste management consisting of the approach of programs and projects focused on environmental awareness to the community, training and solid waste management and final disposal by appropriate recycling was done and recovery of organic matter
