dc.description | The theme of this thesis is “An analysis on the suitability of selected newspaper material as a teaching resource in EFL courses.” There are numerous reasons that motivate students to learn a second language; among them we have: to achieve communication with other people, to learn about other cultures, to be able to read and write in the foreign language and consequently to broaden their professional and personal opportunities. Regarding this statement, EFL teachers can recur to a diverse number of methods and tools to train their students. There are many practical schemes, recommendations, and material from every day life that are a fundamental tool in the class. In this context, this research aims to examine whether newspaper material has a didactic value in English Foreign Language courses; not only regarding reading, but also other aspects such as: vocabulary, grammar and writing. | es_ES |
