| Abstract: | Abstract: This essay work is based on what René Guénon calls "sacred science" by virtue of traditional knowledge related to symbolic reading. In the novel written by Demetrio Aguilera Malta, Siete lunas y siete serpientes (1970), it is intended to analyze aspects linked to the archetype, myth and symbolic language that the author uses in the work, as well as a tour of the author's biography. and the historical moment in which the author begins with the publication of his work. For this we will use the studies carried out by Mircea Eliade and Sebastián Porrini that will help us define the meaning of archetype and myth; we will take the theory of René Guénon and Juan Eduardo Cirlot and other scholars of the symbol when looking for its meaning; and Joseph Campbell when analyzing the hero's path within the play. |
| Description: | Resumen: Este trabajo de ensayo se fundamenta sobre la base de lo que René Guénon llama ciencia sagrada en virtud de los saberes tradicionales relacionados a la lectura simbólica. En la novela escrita por Demetrio Aguilera Malta, Siete lunas y siete serpientes (1970), se analiza aspectos ligados al arquetipo, mito y lenguaje simbólico que el autor utiliza en la obra, así como también se realizará un recorrido por la biografía del autor y el momento histórico en que el autor inicia con la publicación de su obra. Para esto nos serviremos de los estudios realizados por Mircea Eliade y Sebastián Porrini que nos ayudarán a delimitar el significado de arquetipo y mito; tomaremos la teoría de René Guénon y Juan Eduardo Cirlot y otros estudiosos del símbolo a la hora de buscar un significado del mismo; y a Joseph Campbell al momento de analizar el camino del héroe dentro de la obra. |
