Manejo y consumo sustentable del agua en la vivienda de interés social en la ciudad de Loja, caso de estudio: Ciudad Alegría

Abstract

Abstract: This research is oriented to the conservation of water resources.A survey was applied to the inhabitants of single-family homes (Ciudad Alegría) in the selected sector. Then the project continues with the design phase: a system for collecting the water from the consideredsanitary devices (sink and shower), through an independent separating network, where it will then be collected in a gray water receiving tank; Immediately the water will be transferred to a rapid ascending filtration system to be treated, later the fluid will be taken to a reservoir for storage, where by means of an electric pump the treated fluid will be transported to an elevated tank, and then it will be distributed in the home through a hydro-sanitary system, in order to consume it in minor uses (irrigation of green areas, washing and sanitary uses).With this study, it is expected to offer an alternative network of hydrosanitaryrecirculation, to reduce the consumption of drinking water, reduce the impact and contamination in the discharges, and improve the water performance in social housing in the city of Loja.
