| Abstract: | Abstract: There search deals with the impact of covid-19 on the enterprises of the artisanal sector ofthe Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi, year 2020, the same that has as its general objective:to determine the impact of Covid-19 on those enterprises.The type of study is descriptive and documentary, with aquantitative approach; through the application of a survey that contributes to obtainingobjective and true information.As a result, it was determined that the entire artisanal sector of the Latacungawasaffected by the pandemic, who presented: the reduction in demand, difficulties with thesupply chain, leading to the reduction of their economic income, an aspect that motivated29% of the sector change their line of business.Likewise, the artisan sector has implemented operational actions such as: advertising onwebsites, special promotions, request for credits, home delivery of handicrafts, in order tocontinue in the market.Hence, the result of this research is a strategic plan for artisans and craft guilds, whichcontributes to the reactivation of the sector. |
| Description: | Resumen: La investigación trata sobre el impacto del covid-19 en los emprendimientos del sector artesanal del cantón Latacunga, provincia de Cotopaxi, año 2020, el mismo que tiene como objetivo general: determinar el impacto del Covid-19 en aquellos emprendimientos. El tipo de estudio es descriptivo y documental, con un enfoque cuantitativo; mediante la aplicación una encuesta que contribuya a la obtención de información sistemática, objetiva y verídica. Como resultados, se determinó que todo el sector artesanal del cantón Latacunga fue afectado a causa de la pandemia, quienes presentaron: la reducción de demanda, dificultades con la cadena de suministro, dando lugar a la reducción de sus ingresos económicos, aspecto que motivó que el 29% del sector cambie su giro de negocio. Así mismo, el sector artesanal ha implementado acciones operativas como: publicidad por sitios web, promociones especiales, solicitud de créditos, entrega de artesanías a domicilio, a fin de continuar en el mercado. De ahí que, el resultado de esta investigación es un plan estratégico para los artesanos y gremios artesanales, que coadyuve en la reactivación del sector. |
