| Abstract: | Abstract: Tourism is the gareteaste social phenomenon in the modern world, which, due to the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, showed the fragility of the sector, with community tourist destinations being the most affected, which caused the closure of facilities and therefore, attention to tourists was canceled, forcing many enterprises to be left without economic income. The objective of this research work is to analyze the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on the community tourist centers of the Loreto canton, Orellana province. The methodology used in the research has a quantitative descriptive level approach, a study of the current situation was carried out through surveys applied to 60 tourists who visit the canton and 16 owners of community centers, where it has been possible to identify that the health crisis has affected the tourism industry, causing a severe stagnation of economic activity, putting the sustainable development of communities at risk. According to the results obtained, strategies were proposed for the reactivation of the tourism sector of the canton. |
| Description: | Resumen: El turismo es el mayor fenómeno social del mundo moderno, que a causa de la crisis sanitaria ocasionada por la pandemia COVID-19, mostró la fragilidad del sector, siendo los destinos turísticos comunitarios los más afectados, lo que provocó el cierre de las instalaciones y por ende se canceló la atención a los turistas, obligando a que muchos emprendimientos se quedarán sin ingresos económicos. El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como objetivo, analizar el impacto de la pandemia COVID-19 en los emprendimientos centros turísticos comunitarios del cantón Loreto, provincia de Orellana. La metodología utilizada en la investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo de nivel descriptivo, se realizó un estudio de la situación actual a través de encuestas aplicadas a 60 turistas que visitan el cantón y a 16 dueños de los centros comunitarios, en donde se ha podido identificar que la crisis sanitaria ha repercutido en la industria turística, ocasionando un estancamiento severo de la actividad económica, poniendo en riesgo el desarrollo sustentable de las comunidades. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos se planteó estrategias para la reactivación del sector turístico del cantón. |
