Abstract

Abstract: The Pedagogical Proposal is an instrument in which the intentions of an educational institution regarding the teaching-learning process that it carries out are reflected; This document attached to the Ecuadorian curriculum and legal framework, to the autonomy and charisma of the institution, to the social realities of the sector and to the proposals of the principles of social constructivism allow directing the educational task whose orientation is the global and holistic learning of direct agents of the learning process. For this reason, the present work focuses on carrying out a detailed analysis of the influence of the principles of social constructivism and its characteristics that contribute to the pedagogical and didactic quality of teaching; Specifically, the information collected from this educational paradigm was analyzed with respect to the observance of the pedagogical proposal of the Private Educational Unit "Redemptio", of the city of Jipijapa, whose result was the design of a comparative table where the strengths were verified. and weaknesses present in the institutional document. Finally, theoretical bases based on research are exposed where it is argued that, among the most significant contributions of the work carried out, is the effectiveness to make use of the principles of constructivism within educational praxis, which must be embodied in the institutional document called Pedagogical Proposal .
