Abstract

Abstract: The present work entitled: Principles of Social Constructivism in the institutional pedagogical proposal of the U.E. "PEDRO VICENTE MALDONADO", had the general objective of explaining the contribution of social constructivism to student learning as the basis of the institutional pedagogical proposal. The research design is qualitative, through the use of techniques such as content analysis and documented review, with which the study of the institutional pedagogical proposal, the curricular models, the pedagogy that is practiced for teaching -learning, and thus argue how these principles contribute to student learning and their relationship with teaching practice that seeks to achieve significant learning in their students, and that is an active subject to develop their skills.Finally, the matrix allows to contribute with the respective recommendations and conclusions towards the achievement of a quality education and aligned with what is established in the 2016 national curriculum, valuing the principles of social constructivism and its relationship with the organic law of intercultural education (LOEI)
