Estudio del uso problemático del Instagram y su relación con las habilidades sociales en universitarios de la ciudad de Loja durante el año 2022

Abstract

Abstract: This undergraduate project was carried out research focused on Instagram addiction and its relationship with social skills in university students in the city of Loja, based on a non experimental design of a cross-experimental, exploratory, descriptive and correlational type, having as a sample 100 students over the age of 18 both men and women of different careers. The evaluation tools used are: the sociodemographic sheet (Ad Hoc), the Bergen Instagram Addiction scale (BIAS) and the "Social Skills Scale" (A. Goldostein et al. 1978), to investigate if there is a relationship between addiction and social skills. Deriving as results that indicated that there is no correlation between these two variables, while it was highlighted that there is a small significant percentage between parental control and the number of friends present in the sociodemographic record. With regard to the social skills of the students, they present to be within a normal, good and excellent level.
