| Abstract: | Abstract: The purpose of this research work is to analyze the budget execution in the Autonomous Decentralized Government of Portoviejo, in the periods 2019-2020, and to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the budget execution, through economic and budgetary indicators. The results were obtained from secondary sources such as official reports coming from the GAD Portoviejo, these reports allowed analyzing indispensable information related to budget execution and income and expenditure budget tables. The research concludes that the budget execution in the GAD Portoviejo, in the periods 2019-2020 does have an impact on local economic development, which is why mechanisms were established to improve budget execution and increase efficiency and effectiveness, as well as the fulfillment of goals and objectives that help improve the budget of the GAD Portoviejo. |
| Description: | Resumen:El trabajo de titulación tiene como finalidad analizar la ejecución presupuestaria en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado de Portoviejo, en los periodos 2019-2020, determinar la eficiencia y eficacia de la ejecución presupuestaria, a través de indicadores económicos y presupuestarios. Los resultados fueron obtenidos de fuentes secundarias como informes oficiales provenientes del GAD Portoviejo, dichos informes permitieron analizar información indispensable relacionada con la ejecución presupuestaria y cédulas presupuestarias de ingresos y gastos. La investigación concluye que la ejecución presupuestaria en el GAD Portoviejo, en los periodos 2019-2020 si impacta en el desarrollo económico local, motivo por el cual, se establecieron mecanismos para mejorar la ejecución presupuestaria y aumentar la eficiencia y eficacia, así mismo, el cumplimiento de las metas y objetivos que ayuden a mejorar el presupuesto del GAD Portoviejo. |
