Abstract

Abstract: Human rights are the subject of several definitions, however, they fit into a set of powers and institutions that must be recognized by the current legal system, to ensure the resolution of human needs within societies Therefore, one of the main strategies to incorporate universal goals and targets that promote respect forrights is the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thus, the SDG: health and well-being, seeks the full guarantee of a healthy life at any time of people s lives, in view of sustainable development. Given this reality, this study analyzes the case of a pregnant woman who does not receive adequate medical care in the public health system. Consequently, the methodology of the study makes it possible to analyze the link between legal doctrine and SDG3 and the legal system. The results indicate that the rightto health of the aforementioned woman was violated, after this action was confirmed after a protective action, and the ratification of that event through the Constitutional Court.
