Redes Sociales (YouTube) como agente dinamizador del aprendizaje de las matemáticas y las ciencias experimentales

Abstract

Abstract: Technological development is gradually entering into the educational field to help to eradicate the deficit in the knowledge, becoming an ally of teachers letting them create an innovative didactic process, however, social networks were not created for academic purposes. For this reason, this work was developed to know the influence YouTube has on the way of teaching Mathematics, using a systematic review of the literature to demonstrate that videos had helped improving the way how students of different ages, and educational institutions of Ecuador are learning. The study was carried out through the aplication of the mixed methodology and the interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data which the obtained results show that video makes its way as an important element in the pedagogical process and also increases the students interest in learning, especially Math. This research indicates that students' knowledge tends to increase, applying the premise that audiovisuals contribute to the educational progress.
