Abstract

Abstract: This research work is directed towards the training needs of high school teachers, which was carried out in order to design a training course for teachers at this level. The objective was to make a diagnosis of the training needs of teachers, to define their profile and professional skills, to establish coherent and effective foundations in the training and service process in accordance with the perspectives and realities. To make this quantitative research viable, field and bibliographic research was used. The methods applied were synthetic and deductive, which allowed collecting, ordering, analyzing and interpreting the results obtained from the applied research instruments, through the training needs questionnaire, which was applied to 20 members of a Technical Fiscal Institution Night. Among the results obtained in the investigation, it is determined that high school teachers agree on the need to be trained to enhance their individual skills, especially with regard to new technologies applied to education.
