| Abstract: | Abstract: In the present research work it was planned to determine the efficiency and performance of the material, by flotation and centrifugal concentration by Knelson and to be able to establish which of the two processes is the most suitable. For the centrifugal concentration per Knelson was experimented with 60 Gs, 1 Psi and mesh # 35 in test 1, where a yield of 81% was reached and mesh # 200 in test 2 obtaining a value of 66.8%. Likewise, the flotation tests established operational parameters such as particle size in mesh # 200, percentage of solids 33%, foaming, depressant and the use of several collectors varying the pH from 7 to 10. After performing the tests with their respective metallurgical balance sheets and performance percentages, it was possible to verify that the most suitable parameters for the recovery of gold were to mesh # 200, pH of 10 and the use of Z-6 (100 g/t), AR-1238 (85 g/t), GP 88-oil (100 g/t), Na2SiO3 (250 g/t), obtaining a recovery percentage of 97% in test 1 to 4. |
| Description: | Resumen: En el presente trabajo de investigación se plateó determinar la eficiencia y rendimiento del material, mediante flotación y concentración centrífuga por Knelson y poder establecer cuál de los dos procesos es el más adecuado. Para la concentración centrífuga por Knelson se experimentó con 60 Gs, 1 Psi y a malla #35 en la prueba 1, donde se alcanzó un rendimiento del81% y a malla #200 en la prueba 2 obteniendo un valor de 66,8%. Así mismo en las pruebas de flotación se establecieron parámetros operacionales como el tamaño de partícula en malla #200, porcentaje de sólidos 33%,espumante, depresor y la utilización de varios colectores variando el pH de 7 a 10. Luego de realizar las pruebas con sus respectivos balances metalúrgicos y porcentajes de rendimiento, se pudo comprobar que los parámetros más adecuados para la recuperación de oro fueron amalla #200, pHde 10 y la utilización del Z-6 (100 g/t), AR-1238 (85 g/t), GP 88-oil (100 g/t), Na2SiO3(250 g/t), obteniendo un porcentaje de recuperación del97% en la prueba 1 y 4. |
