dc.description	Resumen: La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la incidencia dela tasa de crecimiento urbano sobre la tasa de contaminación. A lo largo de los años el crecimiento urbano acelerado ha generado cierta preocupación en los hacedores de política pública, geógrafos y demás figuras que han notado las repercusión es que se generan en términos económicos, ambientales e incluso generando problemas en la salud humana. La investigación incluye un análisis correlacional además del análisis del comportamiento entre las variables, se encontró una relación positiva y la evidencia empírica resalta el efecto nocivo y significativo del impacto que ha sufrido el medio ambiente debido a la aglomeración de personasen áreas urbanas.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: The objective of this research is to determine the incidence of the urban growth rate on the pollution rate. Throughout the years, the accelerated urban growth has generated some concern in public policy makers, geographers and other figures who have noticed the repercussions that are generated in economic, environmental terms and even causing problems in human health.The research includes a correlational analysis in addition to the behavior analysis between the variables, a positive relationship was found and the empirical evidence highlights the harmful and significant effect of the impact that the environment has suffered due to the agglomeration of people in urban areas.	es_ES
