Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to determine the factors that influence the academic preferences of Law graduates and the existing link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the study of judgments. To this end, the Constitutional Law was considered, the sentence of the extraordinary action of protection No. 328-19-EP/20 issued by the Constitutional Court of Ecuador was selected and the link it maintains with SDG No. 3 on Health and Wellbeing was analysed. A systematic, exegetical, analytical and synthetic methodology was applied with an exploratory and projective legal approach. Finally, it was concluded that Ecuador must continue to direct all its efforts towards meeting the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially those of SDG 3, and that the lack of medical care for a person in the priority attention group and the absence of a full analysis of the jurisdictional guarantees when the existence of res judicata is presumed lead to the violation of constitutional rights and are an impediment to achieving these goals.
