Abstract

Abstract: The changing world and the current reality have shaken world consciousness to the ground, demonstrating that sustainable development is the new goal that the population needs and seeks for a harmonious progress that reaches all countries. In this context, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations become the main impulse that essentially includes the respect and safeguarding of human rights, including among them SDG No. 16 called Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions, which protects several rights at risk, among which the access to quality justice, legal security and effective judicial protection stands out. This research links the preferences of future lawyers for specific areas of legal science and their expectant specialization within the framework of a co-responsible exercise that contributes precisely to solving these problems, for this the study of the judgment issued by the Inter American Court is applied. of Human Rights in the case of Guzmán Albarracín and Others v. Ecuador, in which the violation of these rights is precisely condemned.
