Abstract

Abstract: The Sustainable Development Goal No. 16 has as its main objective to reduce conflicts and promote fair, peaceful and inclusive societies, at the same time it tries to find a solution to them, in thisway it seeks to protect people,especially those who arevictims. This Objective tells us about guaranteeing equal access to justice, for this reason, this is related to the selected sentence since in it it tells us about the Right to identity which is violated. In the judgment mentioned in this work, Mr. JorgeFabián Torres is the victim, who mentions that the Civil Registry violated his right to identity by assigning him a card number that did not correspond to his birth certificate and that would not berecognized as valid by public or private institutions, preventing the exercise of other rights, this in turn causes him many inconveniences and that is why Mr. Jorge Fabián Torres decided to take the pertinent legal actions to validate his rights.
