Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of this research is to provide a legal line of study on the connection between Criminal Law and Human Rights, for this we will carry out an analysis of the role played by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in the sentence analyzed, since through of its jurisdictional functionality, with the issuance of sentences for human rights violations and the degree of receptivity and enforceability that the Ecuadorian State has conferred on said sentences. Our special interest in the legal scientific development of Procedural Law has represented an interesting challenge in producing an academic approach through which, from itsadjective and transversal nature, we can implement aspects of connection with other branches of Law of substantive essence, which, in the medium and long term, guarantee its applicability and effectiveness. With this analysis, it has also been important to determine how this research can be connected with the objectives of sustainable development, the same ones that seek to present more just and equitable societies and that laws are for everyone.
