Diseño de una red GPON con arquitectura FTTH para la Urbanización Iris del cantón Daule provincia del Guayas

Abstract

Abstract: For data accessibility, it is necessary to have technologies that adapt to the current needs of users, GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) with FTTH (Fiber to the home) architecture brings the connection to the home with much faster transmission speeds fast.The Iris Stage of Villa Club has copper networks with ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber List) technology from the National Telecommunications Corporation (CNT.EP) for Internet with 5 Mbps due to the poor condition of the cables.This Curriculum Integration Work aims to carry out the design of the GPON network with FTTH for the Iris Stage of Villa Club of the Daule canton, province of Guayas for the CNT.EP. The quantitative methodology for the analysis and collection of information on existing telecommunications services (fixed telephony, Internet, TV) is considered. The design describes the OLT (Optical Line Terminal) power, ONT (Optical Network Terminal) sensitivity, attenuation level, number of connections and optical balance.The result of the financial analysis will indicate the benefit and viability of the project.
