Abstract

Abstract: The present study deals with the academic preferences of law students regarding the 2030 Agenda, approved in 2015 by the UN to establish global goals. In that line, the purpose of the study is to verify what causes influence students to choose their areaof professional development. For the research development, the following methods will be used: systematic, deductive theoretical review, analysis and synthesis, and exegetical. Regarding the sentence, it can be determined that there is no legal culture inthe citizenship that allows knowing the rights and the importance of the effective protection of the State to guarantee through its authorities the fulfillment of the law. Likewise, it can be deduced that students do not have certain reasons for the selection of their career, ranging from family tradition to the profit motive. It is also observed that students are attracted to the subject of the State of rights and justice, so many would consider specializing in the constitutional branch, thus, there is a certain detachment to labor law as they consider that it generally favors the worker.
