Salud mental en trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID 19 en la parroquia Guamaní, de la ciudad de Quito, durante el año 2021 -2022

Abstract

Abstract: The main objective of this research is to determine the mental health status of health workers from the Guamaní parish, in the city of Quito, during the COVID 19 pandemic in 2022. Fulfilling inclusion and exclusion criteria and following non-experimental, cross-sectional, exploratory, descriptive and quantitative methodology and using: Ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire, Chronic work stress inventory, Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales, Acceptance and action questionnaire, Loneliness Scale and sleep quality index. The results revealed that the prevailing gender is female, most of the participants are married, work shifts, full time, in a private institution the average age is 40 years, they work 8 hours a day and have 9 years of experience. work experience. Regarding burnout, there are medium levels of depersonalization and high levels of emotional exhaustion and low personal fulfillment. Regarding the perception of mental health, moderate levels of stress, anxiety and depression were presented. In psychological inflexibility and perception of loneliness, there is an average of 13.91 and 4.67respectively and in sleep quality there is an average difficulty sleeping.
