Proyecto bioclimático de vivienda implementando el sistema de fachadas productivas mediante cultivos verticales

Abstract

Abstract: The contemporary architecture in the town of Yantzaza, canton of the province of Zamora Chinchipe is highly influenced by the concrete construction system, forgetting the principles of local traditional architecture and Bioclimatic. In the same way, the internal distributions and facades do not respond to the implicit needs of thermal comfort,consequently, other measures are constantly used to ventilate and air-condition the interior of the houses. The present project consists in the design, study and execution of organic-productive facades in a typical house of the canton, intending to solve the needs of indoor thermal comfort and increase food production with self-sufficiency. To achieve theabove objectives, experimentation with scale models of the productive facades is proposed, taking as a reference the months with the highest and lowest ambient temperature at the study site. The experimental modules proposed have been able to respond and simulate living spaces effectively, resulting in the production facade system (SFP) is the best closing and covering element to provide thermal comfort with crop production in buildings.
