Abstract

Abstract:In the present work, the link that exists between the Development Objectives of the 2030 Agenda, of the United Nations Organization, in relation to the State of Exception in security matters approved by the President of the Republic. For this, we have based ourselves on the analysis of the opinion issued by the Constitutional Court from Ecuador. This investigation coupled the SDGs with the state of exception, a legal figure used in response to serious threats that affect public security and the State of Right. The general objective is to determine the importance and need to implement the SDGs, in this case objective 16 "Peace, Justice and strong institutions" that tries to promote societies, just, peaceful and inclusive. Among the most important results that we can highlight, is the help to the victims of this area through the articulation of State institutions in matters of citizen security, health, housing, inclusion economics and risk management; as well as a real understanding of the constitutional norm.
