Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research work is to present a diagnosis of the level of implementation and scope of the use of knowledge management practices GC in the Municipal GAD Municipal of Gualaceo. The research method used is of descriptive exploratory type, based on scientific literature on GC and its practices in organizations. Using as a tool a field inquiry questionnaire, addressed to the department heads of: Human Talent and Technologies, which were the departments authorized to provide information for this research. As a main result, it was determined that only 22.22% of knowledge management practices (percentage corresponding to 4 practices) in terms of implementation and scope are present in the efforts of the Municipal GAD of Gualaceo, evidencing the need to restructuring within the institution through a proposal that includes a reengineering in the other practices so that, by making use of these practices, department heads can provide an efficient and effective service to users.
