Abstract: This research focuses its activity on the legal analysis of SDG number 16 regarding the construction of peaceful societies, access to justice and effective and transparent institutionalism, in addition to the academic preference focused on the specialized study of children and adolescents. study of a judicial sentence referring to a case of extraordinary protection action, driven by a judicial resolution related to the custody of minors in favor of their father; the elements described above converge by virtue of the second goal of the mentioned objective and referring to the eradication of all forms of violence against minors. Likewise, to know the factors that converge in the academic preference of the UTPL Law School graduates for the specific areas of legal science and their future specialization in them, an analysis of the bibliography was carried out to link these with the law specialized in the treatment of children and adolescents and on the other, a systematic, critical, and objective analysis of the sentence has been carried out.
