Abstract

Abstract:The topic of research concerning the academic preferences of law students and their links to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through the study access of judgments aims to know whether the institutionality of the Ecuadorian State, especially in the field of justice, guarantees citizens due process, effective judicial protection, legal certainty in an effective manner especially through judicial decisions and thereby linking this situation to the Sustainable Development Goal No. (16) proposed in the 2030 Agenda. For this purpose, a judgment issued by the Constitutional Court within an extraordinary action of protection is analyzed, through which a citizen requests that his rights be effectively guaranteed, especially the guarantee of due process. This analysis allows to configure the ethical profile that as a legal professional is required for the Ods to be executed in a transparent and timely manner. It is also important to know how Ecuador is implementing the 2030 Agenda and the implementation of the SDGs through various public policies.
