Abstract

Abstract: The present investigative work reveals the importance of the principles of social constructivism in the pedagogical proposals of the Private Educational Unit "SAN AGUSTÍN", for this the content analysis method was used, the same one that allowed to analyze the pedagogical foundations of the aforementioned educational institution, this also includes the technique of a documented review with the use of a relationship matrix that allowed relating the principles of social constructivism with the approaches of the pedagogical proposals, where it is emphasized that each principle of social constructivism is considered essential in the bases of education, since they are inserted in the curricula of the national educational system that served to transform the education of before to an innovative education and employer of new teaching-learning methods, thanks to the entire process of this investigative work it was possible to conclude that, all the principles of social constructivism are fundamental in the pedagogical proposals of the educational institution when applying them in the teaching learning methods, since it seeks to ensure that students become protagonists of their own learning, improving their educational experiences, through of constructivist and didactic learning.
