Salud mental en trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID 19 en la parroquia Sucre de la provincia de Loja durante el año 2021.

Abstract

Abstract: In the current Covid 19 pandemic, the health system has manifested the vulnerability of health workers to the spread of the disease, who will face great work pressure derived from their mental health. Finally, the general objective of the present investigation was to determine the state of mental health of health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Sucre parish of the city of Loja during the year 2021. It was carried out through a research design type non experimental, cross-sectional, qualitative, exploratory and descriptive, surveying 36 health workers, 72.2% women and 27.8% men. The ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaires, MBI HSS, DASS-21, (AAQ-II)7, UCLA-3, PSQI, were applied, finding that 91.7% of the participants manifested moderate to severe symptoms for stress, 47.7% for anxiety, 66.7% for depression and 34% for psychological inflexibility. Concluding that the mental health of the health personnel surveyed presents moderate to severe levels of anxiety, stress and depression, which are considered harmful to their health.
