Salud mental en trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en la ciudad de Azogues provincia del Cañar en el año 2022

Abstract

Abstract:The COVID-19 pandemic constituted a general health emergency, decreeing in a state of emergency and mandatory social isolation, bringing consequences to social, economic, educational level and in the health system. Being mental health a important issue to be addressed in the health workers who were in the first line. The present investigation focused on determining the state of mental health of health personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic in the city of Azogues province of Cañar in the year 2022, for this, the research design was not experimental, transversal, exploratory, descriptive and quantitative, whose instruments of application were sociodemographic and labor questionnaires (Ad-Hoc), burnout (MBI), depression, anxiety and stress (DASS-21), psychological inflexibility and perception of loneliness (AAQ-7 and UCLA-3), and Pittsburgh of sleep quality, applied to a sample of 51 health workers from the Homero Castanier Crespo public hospital, the The results reflected low percentages of difficulties regarding mental health, considering that the sample was higher in the female gender of marital status married/free union with an average of 37 years.
