Abstract

Abstract: Phonetic development is a vital area for the development of any language. For this reason, the present investigation Use of Baamboozle to enhance English phonics in middle school students of a private elementary school was conducted by using Baamboozle, in order to determine if the tool is effective for teaching phonics to middle school students. For this purpose, essential topics for phonetic development were established, which were evaluated with Baamboozle at the end of each class. To evaluate the results obtained from the research, students were given a pretest and post-test that evaluated phonetic competence, reading, and speech, a participation record, and a perception survey at the end to measure the acceptance of Baamboozle. The results obtained were satisfactory, phonetic competence increased significantly during the research period, improving the interaction, and learning environment. With this it could be concluded that the Baamboozle tool helps to develop the students' phonetic competence as well as to dynamize the English learning process in students.
