| Abstract: | Abstract: Considering the constant technological advances, it is important to also support the evolution of the remaining areas, in this case education, seeking to improve the academic performance of the students. Currently, the students require a customized guide from their teachers to correctly identify the areas they need to improve; however, this process turns out to be difficult for the teachers due to the large numbers of students they are in charge. Because of this, the present curricular integration work is focused on the implementation of an intelligent tutor system based in fuzzy logic to support the teaching-learning process of the Hardware Fundamentals students. This will be accomplished through a quiz implemented in a web system with the Python framework named Django and making use of Simpful, a Python library designed to create fuzzy models with their fuzzy rules and membership variables. The model will be able to determine, based on the student s performance during the resolution of the quiz, the most appropriate level of knowledge of the next question, finally improving the learnings obtained and achieving a better performance by the students. |
| Description: | Resumen: Considerando los constantes avances tecnológicos, es importante apoyar la evolución de las restantes áreas, en este caso la educación, buscando mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. En la actualidad los estudiantes requieren una guía personalizada por parte de sus maestros para identificar correctamente las áreas a reforzar; sin embargo, este proceso se les dificulta a los maestros debido a la cantidad de estudiantes que tienen a su cargo. Es por esto que el presente trabajo de integración curricular se enfoca en la implementación de un sistema tutor inteligente basado en lógica difusa que apoye el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la asignatura de Fundamentos de Hardware. Esto se realizará mediante un cuestionario implementado dentro de un sistema web con el framework de Python llamado Django y haciendo uso de Simpful, una librería de Python diseñada para la creación de modelos difusos junto con sus reglas difusas y variables de membresía. El modelo permitirá determinar, en base al rendimiento del estudiante durante la resolución del cuestionario, el nivel de conocimiento más adecuado para la siguiente pregunta, mejorando finalmente los aprendizajes obtenidos y lograr un mejor rendimiento por parte de los estudiantes. |
