Identificación y diagnóstico de las áreas verdes urbanas de la ciudad de Chone

Abstract:The present investigation was developed with the objective of diagnosing the current state of the urban green areas of the city of Chone. A study was necessary in identifying the number of urban green areas in this city, specifically identifying five places: Park of the mothers; Sucre park or square; CDLA Park. San Rafael: Juan Park Montalvo; Plazoleta Santos: Subsequently, the current conditions of these green areas, where it is evident that despite some remodeling processes of three Of these, only La Plazoleta Elio Santos Macay has remained in good condition (lights, seats, trash cans). Finally, according to the perception of the inhabitants and representative of the municipal government of the Chone canton, on the green areas of this locality, it was determined that the municipal GAD does not have a fixed budget for the activities of maintenance of these spaces, agents are constantly required to provide safety and cleanliness to them. The methodology applied therefore consisted of the observation and description of these spaces, being important to have references photographs to verify the data.
