Determinantes del ahorro nacional en el Ecuador periodo 2017 - 2021

Abstract

Abstract:Currently, consumer behavior promotes a low culture of savings, although at the State level effective resource management is reflected in the various works carried out for the people and the community, although in itself, this is only due to the great public debt owned by the state. Therefore, the present investigation focuses on establishing the determining macroeconomic variables of Ecuadorian national savings during the period 2017 - 2021, for which it is based on a relational investigation with a longitudinal design under a mixed approach, since it seeks to evaluate and describe the behavior of national savings and each of the variables involved in it using numerical data obtained from official web pages. According to the results obtained, it is evident that national savings constitute an essential element for the development of key government activities, which promotes economic growth, and in turn, it is highlighted that the macroeconomic variables with the greatest influence on the savings are the CPI, inflation and GDP.
