Inventario Vial de la vía de acceso al sector Cera como aporte al Observatorio de Seguridad Vial

Abstract

Abstract: This work was carried out with the purpose of providing a road inventory of the access road to the Cera sector, to the Road Safety Observatory of the Private Technical University of Loja. Therefore, updated information was collected such as lane width, road surface and the state of passability of the road, in addition, each of the elements of the road infrastructure was georeferenced, among these the ditches, culverts, walls are detailed, and geological events. After collecting this information, the data was entered into the free software of Geographic Information Systems and open source QGIS, and thus an updated database was obtained, with which thematic maps corresponding to the elements of the studied infrastructure were elaborated. Therefore, all this set of information will allow to improve the planning, management, rehabilitation and even maintenance of the entrance road to Cera.
