Abstract

Abstract: he lack of georeferenced information on the road network in the Province of Loja has become in a problem, for this reason it is necessary to implement mechanisms for the identification and collection of data recorded on roads. The development of this project is focused on identifying and georeferencing components structural and technical aspects of the Quilanga Río Pindo road, the elements to consider are: culverts, bridges, walls, speed bumps, geological events; as well as a general evaluation of the functionality of ditches and general state of the road. Geographic information tools have been used for data collection, which have allowed the layout of the route under study, in addition to the identification of the different elements to consider through the use of mobile applications and software specialized. The results obtained can be indicated in tables and maps generated later to data collection in the field, where it is possible to synchronize the information of each element identified, which are ultimately represented as layers in shapefiles that can be be used in subsequent research.
