Propuesta arquitectónica para la interpretación del patrimonio natural y cultural de la parroquia Vilcabamba

Abstract

Abstract: The Vilcabamba parish is one of the most striking tourist destinations in southern Ecuador, this has generated a very interesting cultural evolution that has been shaping the social structure that exists in the parish. The cultural diversity that it has is due to the great variety of foreigners who have decided to settle within the parish, either because of its great natural presence or the quality of life they can achieve. They share and introduce their culture, customs and traditions in a community already full of history. Due to the cultural and natural diversity that exists in the Vilcabamba parish, it is important to consider how, if it is effectively transmitted, taking into account this cultural and natural peculiarity that it possesses. For this reason, this research will address the cultural and natural analysis of Vilcabamba, to make visible the exchange that takes place around this community. In this way, an attempt is made to rescue the most relevant elements to structure an architectural proposal that is capable of uniting the community in a space in which cultural exchange is the central axis. In the following project, ways of living, representative architectural typologies, local materials and techniques will be rescued, so that the community can appropriate the project in its entirety, in addition to the inclusion of universal elements and organic forms that allow the space to It is ideal for any type of cultural activity.
