Prácticas ambientales en el Ecuador: Un análisis de los hogares, durante el periodo 2010 2019

Abstract:This research analyzes the evolution of the main environmental practices that were carried out in the homes of Ecuador during the period 2010 - 2019. The methodology focuses on representing the information through simple indicators provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC), through the Survey National Employment, Unemployment and Underemployment (ENEMDU) 2010 and the Survey of Follow-up to the National Development Plan (EPSPND) 2019. To specify the information Three dimensions are used: Energy Use, Water Use and Waste Classification. The The investigation consists of identifying households in Ecuador with a friendly procedure with the environment, being the provinces of Loja and Zamora Chinchipe those that lead in household waste classification and plastic classification. Similarly in what Regarding the classification of Paper, cardboard continues to lead these two provinces and is includes the province of Morona Santiago among the best in the comparison period. In so much so that the provinces of Cañar and Carchi carry out a good management of the vital liquid. While the correct use of electrical energy is located in the provinces of El Oro, Tungurahua and Pichincha. The results allow us to verify that there are differences spatial differences regarding environmental practices by households, so that In general, this responds to regulatory aspects by the GADs, the Ministry of environment and the state. The aforementioned entities seek to guarantee sustainability in the country.
