Abstract

Abstract: The present Knowledge Integrator Project: "Academic preferences of Law students and their relationship with the Development Objectives Sustainable Development (SDG) through the study of sentences , has as its object the study and analysis of the Case of Carranza Alarcón vs. Ecuador, judgment of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights issued on February 3, 2020, Series C No. 399, in which The Court declared the international responsibility of the State of Ecuador for: (i) the arbitrariness of the preventive detention to which Mr. Ramón Rosendo was subjected Carranza Alarcon; (ii) the unreasonable duration of preventive detention and criminal proceedings and; (iii) the violation of the presumption of innocence, in order to relate it to the Objective Sustainable Development No. 16 "Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions", which protects the following rights: access to quality justice, legal certainty, judicial protection effectiveness, rights to participation, communication and information, and the right to good public administration, this, with the purpose of investigating and analyzing the state of achievement of the stated objective.
