Salud mental en trabajadores sanitarios durante la pandemia de COVID 19 en Ecuador.

Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this study is to know the mental health of health workers during the Covid -19 pandemic in the Central - North sector of Quito. For this study, will study 40 health personnel such as doctors, nurses, assistant nursing, psychologists and psychiatrists. This research will be carried out through the application of a survey through the ArcGIS Survey123 web application, where the following instruments: ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire, work stress inventory (MBI-HSS), Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scales (DASS - 21), Questionnaire of acceptance and action (AAQ - II) , Loneliness Scale (UCLA-3) , Sleep quality index (PSQI) . This research aims to identify and know the mental health of the sample health personnel in the north central sector of the City of Quito. The study stated that in the sample the female presence in health posts stands out more, it is also observed a high level of Burnout Syndrome, a mild level of anxiety and depression and around the quality of sleep presented a medium difficulty sleeping. Due to these data it is Prompt attention to health personnel is important.
