Abstract: The present degree work, called: Academic preferences of students of the law career and its link with the sustainable development goals (SDG) to Through the study of sentences, it presents the importance of Constitutional Law and its relation to the Sustainable Development Goal No. 16 Peace, Justice and Solid Institutions. The main objective of the research was to know the factors that come together in the student of the UTPL Law School to develop preferences for specific areas of legal science and its future specialization. To carry out the investigation, a a bibliographic search in physical and digital books, magazine articles, jurisprudence, laws and doctrine; In addition, various research techniques were used such as: signing, study of judgment and investigation online. In the present investigation, the systematic method was used to present the information in an organized way, and the exegetical method to perform an interpretation of the information collected; The results obtained indicate that the preferences of the students are given by various factors, both internal and external, which favors its development professional.
