Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this investigative work is to carry out an analysis linked to the Objectives of Sustainable Development created by the United Nations Organization, in order to be able to demonstrate the importance of achieving these objectives, as well as carry out a current assessment and demonstrate whether or not these have been progressively met goals. For this, the present investigation makes a special emphasis on the objective of development number 16 called peace, justice and solid institutions, since it is considered one of the most important, since it regulates the rule of law, as well as respect for the human rights of citizens in general. The investigation into its results allowed determine, that at a global level there has been an important development of the Development Goals Sustainable, as well as in Ecuador, public policies have been established through the National Development Plan 2017-2021 which demonstrate that policies have been adopted for the materialization of the DOs.
