Abstract

Abstract: The present degree work entitled "Academic preferences of students of the Law degree and its link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) a through the study of sentences", was executed within the Private Technical University of Loja, in the province of Loja. A detailed analysis of the Objectives of Sustainable Development, based on the decision of the Case of Montesinos Mejía vs. Ecuador, with the purpose of discovering why the Inter-American Court of Human Rights declared responsible to the Ecuadorian State at the time of violating the rights of Mr. Mario Alfonso Montesinos Mejia. Reliable data was obtained that allowed the analysis and interpretation of the doctrine and jurisprudence of the case. It was possible to synthesize that the organs Judicial courts in Ecuador have several weaknesses in relation to the SDGs. Therefore, it is done a more in-depth investigation of SDG 16, thus arriving at an analysis of the rights it protects focusing on access to quality justice within the field of law, to promote a change in future judicial processes.
