Abstract

Abstract:This paper focuses on the study of judgment No. 751-15-EP/21 and its relationship with the Sustainable Development Goal No. 5 "Gender Equality", whose rights protected are: gender equality, physical, sexual and psychological personal integrity, and the discrimination. The work carries out an analysis of the violated constitutional rights and on how the court acted in response to these facts described in the judgment before mentioned. Within this work, the importance of SDG No. 5 has been analyzed to guarantee the rights of people, in this case of women, who are discriminated against and who they are treated differently because they belong to the female gender. In addition, it has been studied the advances that this SDG has had and its implications, since its approach to date. This document confirms the events and figures regarding issues of violence, femicides, inequality, which have developed nationally and internationally since before the confinement by COVID-19, during and after. Furthermore, in the judgment analyzed, the transgression of fundamental rights can be appreciated.
