Abstract

Abstract: The present degree work called: Academic preferences of Law students and their link with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through the study of sentences, these SDGs were developed by the United Nations for its member countries in 2015. These objectives are focused on building a better world by promoting social and economic development, taking care of the environment and strengthening the quality of life of citizens. The present sentence No. 110-21-IN/22 and accumulated is that the Constitutional Court has found the violation of the right to equality and non-discrimination that is contemplated in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, the sentence talks about the exemption from payment of inheritance tax to those who maintain a first degree blood relationship with the deceased or the surviving spouse in case there are no children who have access to the estate, which is found in the Organic Law for Economic Development and Fiscal Sustainability. These same rights are found in SDO 16 peace, justice and solid institutions, to prevent arbitrariness committed by the state with respect to taxes that are detected as an abuse towards the taxpayer or citizen.
