Preferencias académicas de los estudiantes de la Carrera de Derecho y su vinculación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) a través del estudio de sentencias

Abstract

Abstract: The present investigation has as objective to know the academic preferences of the students of the Law career of the Face-to-face Modality and to link them with the study of the Sustainable Development Goals promoted by the United Nations Organization. In this sense, the analysis of SDG 16 is deepened, which aims to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies to achieve correct access to justice and, therefore, a dignified life where the rights of people are respected. Likewise, SDG 16 is related to ruling No. 1266-16-EP/21 of the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, to verify if this entity that administers constitutional justice protects the rights guaranteed by the aforementioned SDG and, above all, those related with the rights to due process in the guarantee of the motivation and to present evidence. Finally, the analysis of the aforementioned sentence allows us to verify if this constitutional justice body is configured as a solid and transparent institution in its decisions, contributing significantly to the construction of the Constitutional Rule of Law and a better global society.
