Abstract:The objective of this project is based on the application and importance of the SDGs in specific to Objective No. 16, analyzed from a general paradigm, it is established that the temporary deprivation of the right to personal liberty is a precautionary measure that a judge may be imposed on a defendant to protect the credibility of victims or witnesses and allow the progress of the investigation or the resolution of the criminal case, for this reason they must be expedited decision-making processes. In addition, the applied methodology was supported by the systematic method, of a theoretical type - deductive with a socio-legal character. Between the main results the information referring to two files was obtained; the information sheet that contains information on aspects related to perceptions of the graduate, and also the link between the subject, the sustainable development goal (SDG) and the sentence selected. The results demonstrate the importance of linking the career together with the SDGs to generate a social impact through the guarantee of equal access to justice, guaranteeing due process.
